i have usually taken rally + luck but since i've changed it to battle fury + morale my damage has quite increased...so i just wanna ask if a few troops r better than the damage increased.... |
Its dependent on the calculations actually. I myself have never did try to calculate the difference between using a Rally built and a Attack built, but a simple but maybe VERY presumptuous and inaccurate comparison would be something like this:
50 Swords with damage range of 3-5 (battle fury)
deals an average damage of 50x(3+5)/2 = 200
55 Swords with damage range of 2-4 (rally)
deals an average damage of 55x(2+4)/2 = 165
Just a rough example of how I used to calculate, in no way can be considered the right way, since there's alot of other factors to be calculated, like Basic Offence's 10% increase for melee damage. |

also the fact that 55 swords would last a little more 50 swords...maybe with x-bows mine increase is 11 n they can do some serious damage! |
I think to go with rally cause in higher levels you can recruit quite a lot more people than in lower levels and more troops usually give more stability . |

As knight, it strongly depends on what you encounter, if monster, walking unit/flyer in hunts go for xbows (blessed will be even better), otherwise, you should choose guardians.
In my opinion, when facing unknown enemy troop setup (like caravan or event) i always choose max guards. |

Max Guards would be better

Knight troops are slow. Usually, they take damage, then strike. Also, morale would give more turn. But, sometimes it's better to take smth else, since we already have lots of troops.
the effect of morale for knight wont be so significant in group battle in most cases even you are try to finish off your opponents asap.
why? the reason is simple. teamwork and the faction advantage will fill the gap.
- your teammate such as DE or barbarian, they have fast unit which will do the job for you if your team need some quick strike.
- your teammate such as nerco or wiz can deal 1 big dmg hit if you really need it.
- in case you need support spells, any faction with holy and dark spells can provide assist to you as well.
all you have to do is stay alive and provide support with your fast unit. your guardian can charge forward slowly and chop whoever block your way
but, the effect of morale in solo/duel will be significant. it can be 1 of the key factors for you to win that fight. you are on your own, so either you can kill them fast of you will just die fast. |

just wait until you get xbow before you deal with monster quest.
after all, troops settle is for knight in monster quest are simple.
normal creature - max your large creature (cavalry or griffin) > max monk > max xbow; corner your xbow, monk in front and large creature at side. try to keep griffin alive as long as you can if you had cavalry; griffin is fast enough to fill the gap if cavalry fall. make good use with defend command to keep your xbow shield long enough.
large creature - use your normal xbow hunt setting will do.
for range monster, you will need some trick. i suggest you go with holy or dark built to deal with it. new AI longer move forward if get blocked. they will whack whoever block them and start shoot again once nothing block them.
so, the only way to use max xbow in range monster hunt is let those monster use all the ammo. hence, you might need evasion or confusion to keep your xbow alive. |

but now i am facing with fairy and the broad attack make me headache.
If i put 1 swordmen as shield,it will be easily kill and fairy monster int is high.
I have done few monster quest such as zombie but this one is really a threat to me |
I was wondering what the biggest adversary was for a high lvl knigh 14-15 both in GB and duels.
Wizard: Are they becoming easy after magic imunity, and what about might knight?
DE: Shrews and lizards is always dangerous. And does their Unique ability go through magic immunity spell
Necro: Maybe debuffer necro is hard?
Demon: Fast units lots of gated
