how do can i even beat elf at lvl 6? whats better, take more bow or swords, also what talent i should take
maw sword when you are against elf.your bow have lower initiative then elven so they can kill your bow before your bow can even attack.
Swordmen large shield abilty work in this situation and will be your triump card.
for talents, try basic leadership+escort or basic leadership+rally.
i prefer the 1st set. |
maybe this question had been ask a few times before but i dont want to read the whole 131 sites so i ask it again ^^. is it better to recruit max. number of recruits or bowman in level 5?

Hi,
What's exactly the use of your faction skill? It says that you can train troops to higher tiers. BUT, say that you already have a skill level high enough to turn all your recruits to xbows. Then, you get another faction level (but no level up ofc :P). Will you be able to get even more xbows? Or will it just allow you to turn more xbows into something else?
And, yes, after checking, I can confirm - with faction level 0, you get no benefit from the faction skill, even with training chambers. How about recruits? Does it makes really a change by increasing racial ability? |
| Higher racial ability makes a change. People on lvl 10 can only take 12 monks with faction lvl 7. I got faction lvl 8 and can take up to 13 monks for example. |

Recruit does slightly influence the recruitment but not the racial ability.

| Knights ability - training - suppose to upgrade low level tier (recruits, xbows) into high ones (guards and monks). To see the difference, take by example any random 2 knights (same level) with different racial. |

From fection level 7 to 10: + 23 xbows + 20 guards + 3 clerics.

it would be abit messy to explain on this way.
how about we talk in the way of the total hp of recruitment. take example, for every 8 extra hp you get, you can convert it to 1 next tier unit.
so, you suppose have 4 farmer now, upgrade to recruit. then you get extra 8 hp now, then you can reduce 4 recruit and get 1 extra xbow.
is it better in understanding? :) |

i prefer elf,their bow are fragile and did less damage to sword.
griff can quickly block bow and druid lightning is not serious if you have the cape of wind. |

First of all sorry for posting with my alt. I simply forgot to log off -log in with my main.
The question was a theoretical one, of course in practice nobody would recruit farmers. I want to know how many farmers can knights recruit at level 10 ?

is't it a problem , whenever you change your skills , your troop count is reduced to zero , and you have to recruit them again...... i did recruit them most of the times , but recently , i frgot to, and i had accepted guild quest , that while travelling , you have to protect merchants...... in battle , i had 1 recruit... i frgot to recruit troops after changing of skills..... and now my hard - earned reputation is down to zero.....
sometimes i wonder , that they should not allow us to fight in taht circumstances...... |
