Relax! Try to get the fun from this game. I always try to do it. That's true that sometimes, some players here find a way to destroy your good mood, but don't let them win by entering their wicked games. Just take a break from the game and come later when you will get your morale back. :) | What I still don't understand (I asked before, but got no answer):
How can a player have four fights in a row against the same player, when nothing has been staged? | | you had already received a penalty for staged combats earlier, if you still didn't know it was against the rules the second time you got caught, your just plain stupid. Lets assume you are both brothers, to prove one way or the other is impossible unless one personally knows you.
Whenever anyone be it brother, sister, mother, father, uncle, friend or grasshopper play from the same location be it computer, internet connection, isp, coffee house or moon rocket, it is advised that caution be used in the mutual participation of anything.
You could easily choose to ambush a different route than your bother insists to travel when declining MG quests and enrolling. Your brother could say, "Hey cancel your ambush for 2 min I have to enroll." Use more caution!
I have never seen a fine or punishment reversed no matter what proof/reasons/excuses are given. It is a warning and you should make sure it doesnt continue to happen or risk being banned.
Surely you have to know how it looks to anyone looking at your logs, very suspicious. Yes it is impossible for the two of you to ensure that an ambush between you both takes place, but it seems fairly obvious that some amount of coordination and actions are being done for the sole purpose to increase that chance. These ambushes are very unlikely if Geht_sterben is only traveling to enroll and then back again, much more likely it is constantly going back and forth until an ambush is triggered. Any such actions could be viewed as staged combat, and the fine is your warning to stop.
By complaining you have admitted to and given more evidence to other rule violations.
1. Password transfer: Both characters were started by you, now your bother plays one. If your brother wanted to play he should have started a new character.
2. Funds transfer: In all cases of transferring gold or resources I have always heard mods say such resources and gold should be sent to Empire with message explaining the mistake. When doing so it is best to send the exact amount not a rough guess. Transferring it back is not undoing it.
3. Repair transfers: I would suggest not making any transfers between your accounts, especially when playing from same location or connection.
Be satisfied with still being able to play and be more careful in the future are risk being banned. | In the case of me quitting i would want to have some fun before :)
I would send a random account (maybe ethereality :P) 31% of my money and see what happens :)
or: transfer all of my gold between my "additional account" (i hope you all know irony) and me several times.
Don't forget i have millions of gold in the mini-arts of my wizard still ^^
I would watch this from another account (i have still one free after I_own_you_all and Geht_sterben).
Maybe i would create Player X (Jediknight knows what i mean)

With repairing noone gets ANY damage and NOTHING is bad about that. If you want this not to be a multiplayer game, why are there duels, groupbattles ...

I guess you see i got more cautious with what i say, because all one says is turned around and taken as they want it to be.
Did i understand you correctly?: I should have sent the gold to empire and not to my brother ... so shall I send it now to empire or he?
He took the Geht_sterben account because he wanted to be same level as i, but lvl 3 is reached fast, i agree with "he should have started a new character" (another mistake :/, but arend we all humans [hopefully, cuz i heard about people using bots for enrollment and so on], and humans do mistakes [and get fined ^^]), but i guess you know at lvl 9 now its stupid to demand that of him :p | omg, you people are like hyenas (if its spelled correctly that way).

You could send the 20K (and anything else that was transfered, to the Empire from Geht, or send it back to I_own_you_all, and then straight to the empire with a good description.

Unfortunately the same thing is said by those that make multiple accounts to cheat in some way. Thus all the rules regarding this matter. I have even heard mods advising people to avoid participating in the same group battle if they play from the same location. | I've read this thread with great interest. At first, it looked like I_own_you_all is cheating indeed, but now I am not so sure. I confess I had no time or will to check his logs, so my conclusions are based on information posted in this thread.
First of all, I hate cheaters, I believe we all agree that they should be punished severely. However, I would be cautious about this case. Although IOYA's and GS's logs are interesting, I don't think they prove anything.
Why would IOYA put such an effort in claiming he is innocent? I've read in this thread that penalty of 5000 gold is not much for him. I asked myself: if I was rich, would I be upset if I am fined 5000 for being a cheater? No, I wouldn't. I would be glad I was not banned and I would be more cautious with cheating in the future :)
Now let me ask a question: imagine you and your brother play from same LAN. You both don't cheat and you wake up one day and you find message from Admin that you broke a rule. I would raise an objecton as well - if I was fined and I played without breaking any rule, in the future I might be blocked for no reason as well. | You really should occasionally take others advice, like that of h4nd in post 76.
Anyone interested should have a look at the Game Log of I_own_you_all and Geht_sterben (it's most obvious from Geht_sterbens Game Log).
Geht_sterben has played a total of 43 Two Towers games. Of those 24 were against I_own_you_all.
I_own_you_all has won all but 2 of those games. The 2 games that I_own_you_all didn't win were because of timeouts, not because Geht_sterben won.
With the sheer quantity of these "coincidental" interactions between your characters, all of which favour I_own_you_all, I'd have to say that it is the very definition of a "support character".
Perhaps Geht_sterben was once your brothers account, but now it's main purpose appears to be assisting I_own_you_all.

What about all those other Smiths out there that are doing the right thing, following the rules and earning their smith points the hard way, rather than having a support character to boost them? There is a history of people doing exactly what you have been doing. Perhaps you should have a look at some of the threads about the character Commander.
Oh and for those that are interested, it looks like the admins have already identified the Multi-group grmblgrmpf, I_own_you_all, Geht_sterben, kaxyse. Extract from page 11 of Geht_sterben's transfer log. It's much easier to see all the support from Geht_sterben's logs for anyone looking for more ammunition.

Whether Geht_sterben is your brother, or not - there's still password transferring taking place, and you (you and Geht_sterben) have been warned about it before. Just think about it...
