My secondary Madgesty is having problems with being a necro..I have just one question, how do you guys overcome lack of morale???
My secondary has been both DE and Barb, so this change to necro is very difficult to manage with..
Ah you uncovered one of the secret weaknesses of our faction. My only advise to is "patience". You can try to balance a little by wearing luck arts, but from lvl 10 onwards I'm not sure it can compete.

How to beat caravan with huge stack of hell horse? Should I split my skel archer?
@63 surely not.

First kill of gated horses. Reduce surrounding stacks of succibi, without killing them (if possible), so u receive less damage.

Keep horses imprisoned at all cost and kill them with your bows as long as possible.

Then position your other troops to finish them once your bowmen drop to low in numbers.
OK guys, I have a question for you all:

What type of necro you like to play with or against which type you don't like to play?

Might necro (main talent defense or/and erudition)
Nature magic necro (main talent nature magic, rely on raising)
Darkness necro (main talent darkness magic, rely on some type of mass spell)


I personally play whit darkness, with mass delay spell. On my level might necro didn't do well for me and nature magic is boring for me. I like to curse people, so I really like mass spell. Necro units don't have big initiative and they don't have moral, so whit delay I try to level things up. But I have to point out that I can't go without raising.
I play might necro and Nature magic necro, depend on situation. And I really like to play against Darkness necro. His poisson has no efect on me, and delay doesnt matter so much ;)
in lvl 7 the nature build is realy strong, cause in spite of stated otherwise dominion of life gives + 4 sp to magic punch. I had like 70 mana at that time and 1 sp (got 1 additional stat from merc guild).
With this setup u can do 50 damage with magic punch (see here https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=472341384&lt=-1) killing 4 orcs or 5 elfen bows or 6 knight bowmen.
for DrMr:

Darkness magic path is probably the hardest to play, but I love it. Anyway I can say that it is not a good choice if you don't like group battles.

Necro-Wrestler are strong, effective and boring. If you like the clashing power of a runnig train, there are barbarians to play. Obviously this is only my personal opinion.

Nature magic becomes quite useless at higher level. Basic Nature magic is a MUST but the rest could be deleted fron the talent wheel up to now. Only woth 4th and 5th level spells the nature magic could became useful again for higher levels.
Darkness is, by my opinion, the hardest option, but I really like to play like that. In group battles is very useful and I play only that kind of PvP. Don't play 1v1 because mass spell isn't practical. I can even manage hunts and merc quest whit mass delay.

On level 6-7, if you like to play whit vamp, delay is very useful tactic. You slow your opponent and vamp becomes the fastest unit. That gives him more chance to hit and heal himself.

I wont to ask how good is confusion spell. Can't wait for poison, but I think that confusion is maybe even better.
So, I reached a new lvl and now hawe abbility to buy thief invation, but, of course, haven't got money for it.The question is when necro can get thief invation, playing in normal way, not just enrolling codes, and is it hard to be a thief on low lvls?
according to what i heard from various necro player it really is hard for them and i understand why. Your slow troops are half dead before you even move once. For wizard being slow isn't as big a problem as for necromancer since wizards main damage (spells from hero) doesn't decrease when his troops get smashed.
If you really want to thief as a necro you will most certainly have to wear full armor and it will still not be as easy as with "fast" factions such as elf, dark elf or demon.

If you don't even have the money for a thief invitation i assume you don't have full arts (1-2 sets) too at hand. So you may as well do what most necro player do when starting thiefing: switch faction (preferably to a not-on-faction-skill-reliant faction as dark elf/elf (elf only in parts since favourite enemy is really help-/useful))
for Humaeer: On lvl 6 is quite easy to ambush for necro. Lvl 7 is very hard, on lvl 8 is big improvement thanks to infected zombies. And on lvl 9 it is hard again. But not impossible. I am pure necro combat lvl 9, and I have tg lvl 4 allready.
You can borow tgi from another player. A lot of thiefs are renting them, including me. Just send me pm for more informations ;)

Confusion is a grat spell when used properly. Expecially with Expert Dark Magic and versus good shooters. I remember a group battle when I put it on more or less 100 crossbowman and they become inoffensive. At the end that move had a big part on a hard victory.

DrMr Poisson is spell lvl 2, confusion lvl 3. So it is quite logical that lvl 3 spell is better than lvl 2 ;)
aRU: Necro can use confusion since lvl 10 ;)

With expert darck magic and a few power, confusion is hard to remove.

Maybe it sounds logical, but they are a different kind of spell and their uses is limited in some situations. But as Vonemar said it only maters if you use them properly.

And one more question for Vonemor (or for anybody who used it) did you ever used mass confusion? It takes a lot of mana, is it worth it to use that much.
mass spells are much better cost only twice as much and hero goes twicw as often if it spelt
one question.
say generally at lvl 5 necro has 5 knowledge and talent is basic nature, then reach lvl 6, how should you distribute the additional stat and how should you chose you talent?
what should talent be for level 7 necro?
