failed at level 14
attacked by 120/80 monsters
frustrating |
failed at day 4, attacked, lost men, defended, lost me, waited, lost men, nothing I did helped in the least bit, though it wouldnt let me get soldiers through ANY of those 4 days, am I doing something wrong with it or can I not get soldiers until later on? |

My advice is to play under assumptions, at least for the first few days. For example, assume that no one will attack you and go for recruiting/building. Repeat. If you get attacked - well, you're screwed, but if that's the case, simply restart - there are no limitations to the amount of retries, after all.
During the first few days you should settle on a strategy and try not to change it. Then, when you have more or less planted your feet on stable ground, adapt to the situation. The general rule is that the more men you have the faster the job gets done, so the first moves should be pretty obvious. |
Cant make the quest

I just failed the quest at Seraph's Tears even though my construction rate was at 102% in the end and my provisions were way above 0. How can that be? What do I do wrong? I was so happy about my success and then the inspection team failed me - buhu, plz help :) |
you did not have 200 peasants |
Is thar required? How do I get all of those while still building up the foretress. My population was 88 - I think. But thanks for the quick anwser |
Yes, it's required. The trick is to build up your peasants first before building up your fortress. Of course you can build both up at the same time, but just don't keep a population of 88 towards the end. |

as i understand tha quest is completely a maatter of luck. It depends on how many times you are attacked and how strong the enemy will be. Victory is ou of your control howver smartly and well you play. |
It is part luck and part skill. You can choose what to do each turn. Your current stats and chance to be attacked are listed. |
Day 16.
Time has come to sum your efforts up. You get up at dawn to review all the papers again and to make the final round at the stronghold. When the Great Capital commission headed by Senior Architect arrives, you nervously present them the documentation.
Completion: 139.
Population: 237.
Provision: 32.
