AuthorKotrin================================>Resigning as mod!
Enjoy your new free time Kotrin, come have a beer since now you have time :)
#59

I never said you were a fair and partial judge in my post on this thread...in fact if you read my post in Arctic's thread...I said your personality was put to a useful purpose as a Keeper. You could be a Diva judge with the cheaters...no one would weep over it...slap em lightly when you're in a good mood, or slap em harshly when you're in a bad mood...many courts all over the world have Judges just like you--scarily enough.

But who weeps for the bad guys, anyway? Very few. Too bad you turned off your zeal in the only public place it could be useful and beneficial to the server.

Maybe after you cool down, get your life in order, and Arctic offers you a Keeper position again--you take it. This is assuming a lot, and hoping everything goes well for you, of course.

Cheers,
LS
YAAAAAAH! but, no-one that is active is now leaving

we wanted active ones, but u leaving :C
Well, after the (in my personal opinion) fiasco with the last blindfold tourney, I kinda decided to live in my own little world, talk only with my friends via PM and live the forum world behind, only occasionally visiting to kill some time.

Don't really know what happened and don't (won't) really wanna read all that's posted in this thread or related links.

Just wanna say that although I don't have much convo with Kotrin, I do know he's got to be 1 of the most active mods since I joined about a year ago. His decisions may not be popular or agreeable to everyone, but then again, I believe that *none* of us can really say we can be a mod, make decisions that are gonna be popular or acceptable to *everyone*, *all* the time.

All I can say is being a mod is a thankless job and to have someone being so active, logged in hours upon hours while others play/enjoy/sleep, doing his job, in the best way he personally feel HE (not anyone else) knows how, without the support of any admins, and more importantly, suffered the kind of abuse from all quarters... well, he deserves my gratitude and respect.. good job or not.

So I say "Thanks", Kotrin. Hope you enjoy your non-mod status. Trust me, I got a feeling you are gonna love it. :)

Kotrin,
Thanks for doing this boring moderator job for all that long.
I never understood why so many people like to become mods without getting paid..
Being a player is far more exciting and less time consuming ;-)

Words of Wisdom...Words of Wisdom :)
Kotrin,
Thanks hope you would find peace of mind,I don't think so that being draconic on forum rule breakers is a rude behavior.Even I was banned for 2 days but I didn't object or panicked like noobs coz I knew that was a rule break. You can't expect from all rule breakers to realize their mistake so they hate you.

Here I recollect one line from a player's profile:I you hate me,good plz do hate me,I don't need your love.

Plz don't let stress come in your path
What I find weird is how someone can be banned on forums, in 2 years of playing I havent been banned once and at first I wasnt knowing Kotrin, nor Faithbringer, nor Shebali.

How in the world this you guys get so many bans, I think you did search for it :)

Kotrin, you are the best, and the best always go first :P
correction:
If you hate me,good plz do hate me,I don't need your love.
correction for correction:
Dont like me? good, please hate me. i dont need your love ;) (c)
for Dan-Panic:
Actually having at least 1 forum ban is quite common for any high level player who frequently posts on the forums. In fact you have 1 ban too.

I also find that those who are most deserving of a ban are usually repeat offenders. These are the players who don't learn from their mistakes or just don't care about the bans.
But i dont get it?, he was the only one who actually worked. but oh well he is like one of us, no power at all XD
The title actually warped the forum structure on the comp I'm on now...

Shhhhh! No rule break Straws!! That's all that count!
Gratz! :)

Since he was the only one doing his work, its free for all in the forums !
FIRE AT WILL !!!
Oh No.O.o.O.o.O.o.O.o.O ....

I am highly surprised . Kotrin how could you do this ? And when did you do this , you were a mod yesterday ! This sudden gust of wind blew me .'-,'+-:'` .
In all kind of social structures some people are entrusted with the power of applying the rules. In most cases these people take the job because they like power or the fame that comes with. But in a few cases power comes into the hands of someone that acts for the good of the whole structure, that sees further than the end of his nose/thread, that thinks about the whole picture, regardless of his own popularity. I think Kotrin was one of them.

Gratz to those who had him resign. Usually the same people will then protest because there's no one left to do the job, thanks l.com for being such a great example.

Now that Arctic's action are (apparently) on a whinning-on-.ru basis, sometimes insignificant (Valentine's...) and sometimes completly destructive (like the thread that lead us there), I must say I'm not so optimistic anymore about the future of this game. The russian exile looks more and more attractive.
Kotrin you made your point, now be a good sportsman and lock the topic.

Half of the server read it, most of the posts are off topic this being the "Gratitudes and congratulations" section of the forum where you "If you wish to thank or congratulate someone in public, write here."

Let it sink, dude.

Best regards,
Xata
