I am questioning who did that penalty..there are plenty of cheater that i can pick..obviously the offline time and the penalty imposed time is far from logic to did that action

There are PLENTY of cheater in C&A but few of them get punished..But some MC people just get blocked without being reported ..

I don't get it..why 2011's people only knows how to solve the problem like 'behind the scene'...there are PLENTY of cheater in C&A waiting to be punished..so Whats the point when the world gift you year 3000 technology?

I agree with moro88. There are a lot of unusual activities that have been happening here. Are there any active admins here who dont wanna show themselves out?? This server looks like it would just fade away slowly.
There are so many unanswered questions and the situation seems to worsen day by day. An ADMIN needs to atleast come out tell whats been happening around?
Until then this server will continue fading without updates like a sinking ship.

There's basically 2 ways a player can get blocked - Manually by a human or by some program.
If it's by a human, isn't it just as easy and simple to do a few clicks to handle a reported case in C&A? With some of the logs I see of reported players in C&A, one don't have to be Einstein to know illegal transfers were done rampantly. Why not handle those?
The other possibility is that those players blocked were done by some 'auto-block' programming. If that's the case, then there is a possibility, no matter how small, that the block could be a mistake. Then we should have a/some admins look into the appeal more promptly.
I believe most of us think most blocks are deserving. We are just talking about the (rare/few) cases where a player was blocked by mistake.
Of course, some have suggest that there are more to some recent blocks than meets the eye. How true it is, only the admins and the heavens know.
As for me, I just don't want the server's population to decrease by the day. At this rate, there won't be many players left to enjoy the next update and/or Arctic's return. |
| In majority and that is 99% at least penalty is in some way well deserved, but noooo lets create rather a hype that admins are unfair, or that there is a "local sheriff in town"... at least that wont sound so bad to punished player. Than it wouldn't be a player disobeying rules it would be a stark raving mad person abusing block button. Is that what this is all about? In all cases its either with illegal transfers or with 6 relatives, 4 children, wife, 10 friends, grandfather, mother, father and even teacher logging from same PC (MAC address) on same IP (router + cable + provider) and in mostly same time or being logged for days without logging off (although there is supposedly no bot whatsoever on account) and lastly screenshot from game played in bot resolution like 0*0 or anything else and guess what? Wham! All of the sudden its "unfair" block. Riiiiiight, honest players usually get caught first and banned, right? There is no cheaters whatsoever? Even if there were some penalties they are always waaaay too high? Unbelievable.... When someone makes mistake than thats just what it is - mistake, I agree with that, but shouldn't take responsibility for it? Almost every time it is a comment like: "Well, that was long ago when I didn't know rules" or something like "Thats no biggie, small offense, penalty is too much" etc. Why instead people don´t first read rules or at least https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=5 and than play either with risk of being caught when doing something against rules, but don´t complain later or stay within rules and play like it is meant to be? Ignorance of the rules does not relieve the responsibility for their violation is first what is written in rules. I dont say its impossible from person behind block button to make mistake, but come on we all know that here as always almost all are more than well deserved and that still amazingly high number stays block free. So question is would You like to play again with every 2nd char cheating on server and being ambushed every 3 rd trip with full AP char like with TG back before update or do You prefer hard way, but fair and most important same for all players way? Because considering rules every player can have different opinion on the matter and how a block button should work, but at least rules will provide they will remain same for all and that You are bound to accept them by simply registering and playing on this server. I am simple player, in no way related to administration and I welcome forums because it often offers insight from others on certain topic, but really sometimes it is hard to understand if You did break rules why later complain? And what gives the right to do so? Just my 2 cents. |

| #52 Just to clarify my point of view above on infamous password transfer - I see it as a longing from multi points in same time or more than a few players from same MAC address and not stated so or with transfers(IP is less relevant - that is only my guess) and lets face it multihunters are more or less behemoths on every game, system is doing auto blocks on majority of online games today - I dont know which is a case here, but it still doesn't matter as long as You play within rules. |

If that is the case here than all is well. Otherwise you may have selective IP checks and that can lead to abuse.

Only these three can do all that blocking since only them who have the access to that so-called 'block button'.
And to top that, questioning admins' authority and decisions isn't the smartest thing to do unless you don't plan playing the game anymore, imho.
