By looking at ACTIONS of those men, we can place them where they belong today and Chamberlain is a dove and left would have NO problem with his idiocy but the right would utterly reject it as they do today.
Lets look at the current world. The right sees a dangerous problem with Iran getting nukes and would act on it. The left? They want dialogue which in the face of evidence equals appeasement, for the leaders of Iran have consistently said they want war with Israel and the "great Satan" USA.
So while the left wrings its collective hands with useless talks, the threat grows.

And where has that gotten us? More instability. Now the much stronger Iran is flexing its Middle East muscle and leading to confrontation with Saudi Arabia, making our whole system of life in the West very shaky.

If you read the text linked to by Modi it quickly becomes apparent that the article premise is based on the Bible being sourced from ordinary people, not "God".
Essentially the person writing the article is working from the simple explanation that I mentioned earlier. The Bible is flawed because it is written by people, not sourced from "divine origins".
Again and again we have seen Modi misleading and misrepresenting his side of the argument. It's like he is unable to recognise what is truth and what is fiction. Perhaps his religious and political indoctrination has rendered him unable to tell the difference?
It will be interesting to see Modi's next example of misrepresentation.
