| This topic name is Admins and Players Integration and I thought that if i open such a forum page Mods would came to talk for there side so that there would be good understanding between us and we can talk jointly about different activites in the game... I dont say they are wrong but I say they are doin somethings wrong and I am really gratefull to them as they haven't banned this forum yet it means they too need a change ... thats what we are asking for :D there silence too speaks here :) | Okay Fine

Me, other players and mods already explained some different points of views, and problems that will come with. You're ignoring and following your own thinking, blidly.
If we're going to psycollogical reasons, and impulsions for comportamental behaviors, I would say that you're a young person and your parents didn't teach you limits. You also don't care with logic or reason, as long it suit your needs well. But that would be entirely off topic, won't it?
I am asking u for a solution, If u got plz share with us ... I am not that brave to find a solution, U are really brave
I don't had any problem with mods, but as a player somethings that I wish never change and always keep improving.
* Search for mature mind moderators, after all give power to someone, isn't a joke.
* Proprely teach the function to the new recruiter, give a good time for understanding how things should work and monitoring him/her afterwards.
* Be fair with the moderator, pay them and don't overhelm him with work, otherwise stress doesn't combine well with efficieny.
* If possible recruit someone most active and nice to people as possible, which may guide and explain about the rules, instead of pureply apply punishiments, when possible. (In your case, you're well awared, so that's why, you're a good
candidate for forum ban.)
* Look for someone, who overall will benefit the game and community. Also if had contact with russian department staff and know who to speak this language, speak about our currently issues, such no update on .com description from somethings, such Charming elf on "about the game description," and overall looks to benefit our side.

1. Arctic was very special link from us to the admins. It gave the com community more space and privileges than our numbers would indicate. Remember that we are just a tenth of the Russian players. Now we probably have less influence in the game than we should have.
2. Some of the forum rules are less than perfect. It would be awesome if one of the players here (such as Pang) would have the power to edit them. This is not the case so we have to live with it as it is.
3. Some rules are here because stupid and evil players provoked mods over the limit. For example:
Many years ago we had the "Arrow war". It was players posting redundant characters with different length and configurations. Then they posted complaints about why one was banned and another one wasn’t. The rules we had were very vague and open for interpretation. The mods were accused about favoring some players and punishing others. It didn’t stop until strict rules were created.
I also think the rule about not discussing mods actions in the forum came at this time. (I might be wrong about this.)
4. Elections for mod position is an amusing idea. About as fun as electing the police in RL. Just pick a popular guy from the street and give him a uniform.
5. Someone asked if Pravin J had been banned by every single mod. It is indeed close. He has violated a fair share of the forum rules and often repeatedly and deliberately. Pravin also lacks the decency to write with correct spelling and grammar. I know that he is able to, but he chose not to. A better language helps players with poor knowledge in English to understand and also helps them learn. Pravin, please improve and I promise that you will be taken more seriously.
Still, I must say that I like Pravin because of his activity and ability to make something happen. This thread is a great example. | Well then the game will obviously fall down where russians are given domination

Basicly this is Russ game.. so they rules, they benifits, or what ever.
They invest good money of donate to make this came as good it is now. Stop complaining about things wich is not important. Noone cares that, i ment the russ comunity.
Its there game, there idea. And they have done amayzing job sence this game is up, by 2 admins Max and Alex. This is there work, they have done. Forget the separete .com server. It was good, but booring. So far while we are merged. We have much and much things, Inculde better engines game run, and graphiks, and great eveints.
All the time i see when some one complain about where game have become. And as its posible, with resourses they have they made it amaizing. Now we have all. and will have morein future. Who knows, this game may grom more, And we will have more effects in battles, and more improves in all the things.
If dont like some thing, then, look for other game. Why u are here?
If this game is so bad, that u complain about it. Stop play. Leave it.
And this game compare other games, is quite cheap In every game u play, cost more, and get lesst values. Not tolking only about browser games.
To make any busines, entartament better, adn best, it cost money. With no money, free games, its not posible.

True. Sence we dont have Arctic, its less care about com side.
but.. in side of business, com is usless.we dont have donators as the russ have. thats my opinion. Most money for game earn rusian players.
So com is not bringing that much money. So it means, russians keep up bouth servers, and make money for game become better.
Think real... what countrys keep up this game by donate? What people play this game?

Example of moderators being dictators...a small one and may not be as important as the discussion but this just shows the dominance of few special people in the game who do not want to listen...
Just saying either be a democracy in the game or make the game open to public expression because tyranny has to end one day...sooner the better
What has this to do with being a dictator? Is following the game rules wrong? Is that Tyranny?
Its cleary stated in each topic by Arctic which rules to follow. Its a moderators job to follow those rules. That topic could have been closed for other rules aswell as it has been repeated like a zillion times before (after EACH event someone asks to make it permanent). This is definitely NOT a dictatorship.
Pravin J likes to troll and break rules, even I have banned him a few times. I don't feel a grudge or anything, I find myself a bit amused sometimes.
Yet I have NEVER added him or anyone else to my blacklist. I'm always open for conversation and so are all the other moderators.
We are only humans aswell, mistakes are made and will occur.
If you do not agree with a mod's actions you can always PM him/her about it, if you do not agree with him/herr, simply hand it over 1 step higher. | And one more thing, I had been posting rules that are being violated by a particuler post in many threads since mods were very slow, and then I got a message from a mod (W___) to stop posting pointless messages everywhere. So my question here is, if mods say rules are pointless things, why should we abide by them?

Currently there is 1 person in my blacklist and i always remove it over time as well.

The people i see here complaining about mods being too harsh and the 'hiatus' between mods and not mods are actually people that seem to enjoy this gap.
Pravin,how many times have you been trolling publicly and how many times have you said that you are just bored and you need some action to make your game experience more interesting.What do you expect mods to do with those topics you create,laugh with you,do nothing at all or what?
Have you ever checked the russian forum?You should know that the bans russian mods are applying are way harsher than the ones we are applying,we rarely ban someone for more than a day
Electing democratically mods?Let's again ignore that it is 'Ideas suggested multiple times' (8. Democratic elections of Moderators, Sages, Keepers.)
Why do you think that would work?I don't think that having the most friends is the best way to become a mod.We could elect you for example,why would i trust you to run the coomunity?The only thing i have saw you doing is trolling.
In coclusion,i don't even think there is an integration between mods and not mods.From my experience i have worked well with people asking me something or expressing their disagreement via PM,when people treat me nice,i treat them even better.
PS. I will not talk about admins as i simpy don't know how they think. | I have been following these discussions with interest and it clearly shows that no one is stopped from posting just because they have a different opinion to the moderators or other players.
While it could have been closed for a few different reasons and/or is in the wrong forum area it also demonstrates that where possible it is good to use discretion when common sense says this is something which is good to get out in the open. Forum moderators do have a responsibility to enforce the rules and a duty to every player to keep our forums safe from things like offensive, provoking or bullying posts etc.
Moderators have dynamic discussions out-with the public forums to ensure we all act correctly and deal with problems in a consistent and fair manner. When bans are given moderators act impartially regardless who is receiving the ban. Whether the person is a personal friend or enemy in the game does not alter the likelihood of the ban or it's length.
Moderator posts are not assigned by public votes as this is just not feasible. Just because someone is very popular (or has many illegal characters) does not make them a good moderator. I, like the other moderators, got my post because I applied during one of the open recruitment phases and was felt to meet the requirements like understanding the game, being impartial and able to express myself clearly. It was not a case of friends recruiting friends. In fact if anything in my case it was the opposite as some of you may remember from the dark age when Arctic had to get involved because of problems with some moderators. Since then though I would think most people agree that the forums are managed very well with a wide representation of different moderators who have a lot of respect for each other and for the community.
In summary, if you deliberately break the rules, are offensive or try and provoke a ban then you are likely to succeed BUT the ban will be appropriate and often accompanied by a mail discussion with the main aim being to stop repeats of the illegal actions. What harm or good would be done by inaction is always considered and often moderators will discuss among ourselves before acting. Mistakes are always possible but we try our best to get things right.

for Edwin: I mean my old A/c once got blocked as I send some suggestions to the Empire telling the game was currently boring and asking him to conduct Elections and some events, Artic saved me that time ... he helped me and got me unblocked | hi Pravin, checked your 1st post...
It would be good if there were good integration between the players and Admins...
i love that too. but in most companies and organization have rules, hierarchy to follow. they created this for various reason. people who work can understand this.
same thing here, a normal player cant expect to go straight to Admins door and knock.
and there were good connection between the Mods and players. but now a days there is no connection between players and Mods.
yeah, i miss those days too. we can take some initiative and work on that.
