honestly i could tell before even looking at your character page that you were either a knight or necro main. the ones hit hardest by this are the fsl 12 13 knights and necros that were hard abusing their bonus units. now to get abused by bonus exp XD

The effect of PoS has been updated as well, was wondering why I was bumped to having level 10 when the link in the shop shows level 9. Pretty decent change

because their faction abilities are the most OP. Knoghts on 17-18 with fal 13 have 2x the total army health as half of other factions with classic necro just behind them.

as an elf main playing elf every win is hard rng with luck blind etc and very hard to pull off. When i play knight or classic necro i dont even have to think i just randomly move and win games. to bad both are boring as fk to play. these factions just use the shear health advantage gifted to them by racial to, as russians put it, bend over weaker factions. its no wonder a big part of complainers on .ru are fsl 13 necros and knights
Well there are people with fsl 12 or 13 in other factions who are not happy with this change too. Also, i notice a lot of these arguments revolve around the pvp perspective as if there is any wrong in having some hard-earned stats to gain some advantage in events.

But anyways it is what it is xD
There is no faction as op. If knights and Necro were so op half of server would have played if they know they would have won always.

People who are most complaining is pumped players who want to just exploit the imbalance because of huge stat difference. A pumped player will have high win percentage playing any faction type. Each faction has its strengths and weaknesses.
This penalizing people with experience point is best decision they have taken. Now, hopefully more players will play cg which used to one of guilds for pumped player. Now pumped players can whine all they want now lol

I think someone gave an example in one of old forums. Factions are like rock paper scissors. Slow factions fast factions and magic factions. Magic had advantage over slow. Slow has advantage over fast factions and fast factions over magic.
Most op faction is fire dwarf and fire wizard. Fire talent is too op in my opinion.
wrong. i have 50% winrate on classic elf and charmer in pvp.
i swap to knight i have instant 80+% winrate. and i dont have to even try. Its just that easy but long games..
i have 90% winrate with classic dwarf as it is just 10x better rush faction then elf could ever hope to be, and has like 2x the total health of elves. anything even looks at an elf in pvp and they just are dead.
Faction statistics arent accurate. Ofc more people play elves. They the best pve faction by far... tg hunts mg. would you rather play elf in those or something like shadow barb? Lol?
Agree elf has to have their hit luck Bs to win most of times. And, also agree that elf is preferred because they are strong against PvE.

And, fact is win ratio is completely dependent on faction is totally accurate.
I have seen some pumped players playing any faction and they still have 80% win ratio.
CG has always favored pumped players. Hopefully, now with change this will change. Also, potion of skill change that admins bring is also very good. Hopefully, we will see new players playing cg. Funny, I see some of players have stopped playing cg since update. They used to play 10-20 cg fights a day.
Point is that all factions are balanced in group fights. You will always have factions you play against who counter your faction well. Some of my favorites who I think are strong classic knight, classic necro, Wizard - both, might dark elf, dark demon, Fire dwarf, pharaoh. Even tribal although super boring. All these factions should have equal win ratio with minor differences in group battles in a long run.

Each faction has advantage and disadvantages.

tribal loses to pretty much anything. the problem with tribal is if it is balanced then it is WAAAY to strong. if it isnt balanced then it is too weak. its is insanely hard to balance that class due to racial. mages wreck tribal. Dof wrecks tribal. ever seen a tribal face off vs 12 mirage deagons from UN? Pop him 2 or 3 times with drags and he has no army left.

what makes knight and necro soo op is ALL their units are good in all situations. knight can ddal with dof and hypnosis and dark debuffs. all their units do ton of damage and have long range except for 1 unit that has 5000 hp in the stack. if i was interested in having the absolute highest winrate build in cg instead of quick games i would play classic knight. but i like my fast games so i play rush factions like UN or classic dwarf. elf is unplayable in pvp imo unless you want to lose. I have crushed rusher 21 classic elves 2/2 times in cg as lvl 18 UN and the dude was top stat level 21 in game. The level 8 that was paired with me was basically spectator. if he was playing knight or necro instead of elf there would have been 2 loses instead of wins for me

Under the new updates people could still have additional stats to gain advantage in events, just not as much as before. Honestly I think most players would stand to benefit from the update other than the disgusting, repulsive and despicable stat monsters that people strive to be because such characters exist.

Most above average players are camping for stats just to be competitive with stats monsters. Now that some of the stats monsters are having a little temper tantrum and not playing CG or other combats, CG will be more balanced and hopefully the average players who wanted to play pvp but are dissuaded from playing to the existence of super overpowered characters.

Isn't it better for everyone to not be or strive to be so disgustingly overpowered, forcing the other players to either dodge or be as disgusting to have a chance? Do you really need to be like 30 points above the other average players to have an advantage? 10 to 15 should be more than enough.
At what point will players of a GAME start just playing the game for fun instead of working for the "stat number goes up hehe poggers me smesh weak players ooga ooga" mentality?
let me put it this way. i think classes are balanced when they have instant loss conditions unless they are heavily favored by rng in that fight.

battlewise vs dd bw just loses.. temptres takes sphynx and sphynx 1 shots 80% of bw army
elf across from necro? elf loses. across from knight? loss. dd? loss
tribal across from dof or mage? loss
pharoah across from mage de? loss. across from classic dwarf? very losing matchup
mage de across from dof? loss
necro and knight have no instant loss opponents. they are about 55/45 against each other favoring knight due to morale.

you could argue both are weaker to mages but while that is somewhat true the sheer meat the mages have to cut through still makes it hard.

when the game isnt designed to be a character building game. remove all stats in this case but the current setup WILL be min-maxed for those who want to. i already know my plan forward and how to stay in top via stats and faction levels in the new system
Slayerall: agree tribal with high amount of tribals points accumulated is very hard to kill.
But, my point is all factions are kind of balanced. Knight Necro is strong, and so are other factions. Nice discussion though but let's not spam this new updates forum.

Great initiative by admins and some great changes in last week or so. New players do not need to grind so much. Pumped players can't enjoy insane advantage in cg for long time now. They soon will level up or stop playing.

Some has advantage over one faction but that does get countered by others. In duels facing one type of faction can be considered instant loss, but in group battles this change.

Galthran: totally very well put. If these stat monsters going to stop playing now, it just prove more that they were skillfully always weak and always had to rely on stat advantage.

I think this is an absolutely fair way of thinking, it is those that are whining so bad that are kind of amusing. Super campers that are super overpowered in level 12 should just advance to level 14 and be still very strong, for example.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
