the knight lost anyway.. it's an insanely stupid strategy if you ask me=)
on .ru we can see artifact cost/battle in Artifact shop?
or what is that tab?
the second tab lets you rent artifacts
it is a rent shop, though it costs 40% more than cost per battle.
it costs so much because it is very convenient and instant service=)
but is nice :)

Just some questions regarding dwarves. (Which aren't on this server yet, so there is no point talking about it!) lol

I am guessing there will be an event involving dwarves during the next 5-6months so just want to prepare enchanted arts before-hand.
So I will ask again...

What spells do dwarven heroes and troops cast?
What enchants are best? (offensive and defensive)
Do any units have a charge bonus? Any other specials?
Does anyone have any links?
What are the best/worst factions to fight against dwarves?(Are wizards largely useless or can they be used as support? Eg: Hybrid/Holy magic build?)

Defensive I feel. Since the dwarves can hit first and hard, have many defensive immunities (immune to elemental damage, immune to Confusion, immune to Disruption, reduced damage from enemy based on squares moved by enemy, etc)

Do any units have a charge bonus? Any other specials?

Might DE, I feel is affected by dwarves. Fortification (Damage received by this creature is decreased by 10% per square the attacking creature moved before the attack, to a maximum decrease of 90%.) stops Shrew/Lizards charge attacks and the fact with Faction rune 2 (Haste- Unit moves twice it's movement speed this round), they can easily deal with hit and run attacks. With Fire shield, Shrews have trouble surviving hit-and-runs too

Wizard is affected by the many immunities. Immunity to disruption, blindness, confusion, berserk, mind-control, Poison, lightning, fire, etc, cramp Wizards. Faction rune 5 (elemental immunity) cuts off much Wizard damage. With Faction rune 2 (Haste) and Holy Magic, wizards can't camp easily with their gargs. Dwarven Invokers use lightning that is not considered elemental (thus fully affecting Gargs)

Select em on the talent Wheel.

no, on the talent wheel you can only pick a special talent, which allows you to use two runes of the same type (without that talent there is only one kind of runes allowed during a battle).

the runes themselves get unlocked as your dwarf faction skill level grows, like Sven91 said.

and to enable them in the first place, you need to construct something in a castle, like elves do for they favourite enemy.

Clarification:
You can only use one of each level of Rune per battle and each unit can only have 1 rune applied to them for that battle.

With the Talent, you can use 2 of each level of run per battle, but each unit can still only have 1 rune applied to it per battle.

For defensive enchants what are best?
Fire Armour enchantment would be best as the runepriests and the dragons use fire, and the priests/runepriests have an ability to cause opposing units to receive double fire damage.

Air Armour enchantment would be good as the Invoker can call down lightning damage, but their normal attack, though looks like lightning, ignore Air defence.

Now is on ru some minor event with steppe goblins attack on factories. Anyone knows more details?
They are attacking mines and facilities. and you can get attacked on the map too. Just sit and wait - at least it works in fairy trees and port city, don't know about other locations.
