Man, when the russian server was the age of this one they didn't have tournaments, graphics, balance, thiefs guild, merc guild, demons and the highest tier was 5 and highest upgrade was for 3rd tier. And the 7 pages of news were filled with news of all those features which we got here from the start... |
If anyone here feels like a 2nd class citizen, why not just play on the ru server instead of complaining in the forums?
I suppose most players here would love to see things running like how the ru server. But pls, look at the hard facts, do we have the sever pop to justify for so many updates? Are the admins and programmers able to code effectively in their foreign language, English? The list can go on and on but...
Seriously, we should learn to be a bit more appreciative of what we have here at the .com server and thank the admins for this great game.
Feel like a 2nd class citizen and sulk for all you (whoever) want. I'd rather be thankful that I have a nice browser game to play :) |

A question for russian players.
In your country, which is the programming language? Isn't it english like in my (Italy) county? This should explain lot of things in my humble opinion... |
Are the admins and programmers able to code effectively in their foreign language, English? Are you sure the game needs to be programed again in foreign language? Its a code, code doesnt care what language is it in. Its just a matter of translation the few visible aspects of game,but yes, that takes time and people too.
But for the ones saying: "Take the things as they are, go to play on .ru if you want." We cant. I am not playing a game blind, because that is what I would see in a game in foreign language. Altough there are already players who had to ask today in queries and help about their problems playing on .ru because they cannot speak russian so they cant ask there. |

| I already know their culture(at least partially)..A Russian friend was teaching me a little about their customs, habits and headaches. |

Gosh ma mate , you are just makin the wrong fuzz here, don t you feel glad that you have the possibility to enjoy the game without huge pile of bags already. When I've started to play on a russian server it was just an early begnning for a lot of things to be done and improved, but you guys have the chance to get started on already tested platform, doesn't it feel good? |

This is a forum. We are supposed to discuss disagreements here. He said something, someone disagreed. You calling people names doesn't accomplish anything.
Saying, "No, I think the game is fine without additional improvement" is disagreement. Calling someone a nagger and complainer is not.
And then she went on to use another offensive word "pampering", like we "naggers" are children. Sorry, but I can't think of a better word to describe that than "buffoonish".
I was already frustrated with the lack of progress on this server, and glad that someone posted a thread voicing it much better than I could. And then come along these people who not just think that everything is fine, but also that everyone who thinks otherwise is "nagging and complaing". What does that "accomplish"? Never mind that when the government (aka Admins) gives us running water and electricity, the "non-whiners" who think that anything beyond well water and wood stove is too luxurious will benefit as well.
When people try to push for improvement by voicing their discontent, even if you think they are asking for too much, you'd be wise not to shoot them down with words like "nagging" and "complaining". Progress might come along faster due to people like them. |
| hey i left the russian server and came here because there were too much of everything. if u want all that u can go play there. but it won't be fun if everyone is super upgraded. |

i haven't read the topic, but i say: "do u envy .ru server? don't u like playing on this one? so DON'T play on it!"
ps. i've been playing on .ru server for a half of a year, on this one - 2.5 months. but anyway i like this server much more that .ru one, because i believe, that there will be events soon on this server.

Has it crossed those that are 'dissatisfied' with the lack of progress to this site that the admins/mods are ALSO players here too? And most of them have been playing here longer than most (I didn't say ALL) of the players who have voiced their 'dissatisfaction'.
That being said, don't you think they, as PLAYERS themselves, who probably have clocked more hours on this site than many of us, would ALSO want all the upgrades, tourneys and whatever else some of us are clamoring for?
Com'on, like what many have said, this has been said over and over in many a thread, can't we just trust that the admin/mods, as players and addicts themselves, will try their utmost to give us asap all the upgrades and new stuff we are all waiting for? |

There is a great difference between admin and a mod. I dont know about anyone who has administration rights except for Arctic(on vacation). From what I know there are 2 moderators handling the tavern violations and it seems that topic is clean every day(great job by the way). Nobody does feel the lack of moderator actions(I feel their deadly grasp above me everytime I post too much at the forum), but lack of admin/sweeper presence.
Altough I have noticed some improvement in the financial CaA section, but maybe it is just too much for a human to handle. |

If we, as players want to push for improvements, shouldn't we be giving suggestions instead of complaining? There's a fine line between between feedback/ constructive criticism and complaining. I do see this topic's starting post as one seeking for an opinion, but then again, it seems to be digressing.
Imo, we should all try looking at things from two sides of a coin.
Lastly, this might be a bit overdue, but I'll still like to thank the admins and mods for implementing the 2nd survival tournament, as well as with the setup of the additional Caa section. |

BTW read post 43, I explain how I feel your answer would be in this thread and how wrongly some are you are judging me AND validate their reply because im only a level 6 character.
Anyhow, Did anyone read my 5th post and still think because of our younger age and lower population, everything that is going on in www.lordswm.com is ABSOLUTELY fine?
Again, to those who think people like me are complainers and ungrateful for this free game. I say : "YOU ARE WRONG.. i am merely stating the OBVIOUS... what a 'child' (level 6 character) is seeing... and the PRE-conceptions and frustration that is building up (lots of bad thing is happening in real life because of preconceptions...) because of a LACK of communication.
