Not necessary. Many players at higher level reached high faction level as well. So, they changed the faction to increase their defense against different factions.

Everything is impossible to win with elf(and many other factions), so people switch to DE, Demon and Barb for easier TG.
The switch to Demon and Barbarian is mainly for PVP's, not for TG. E.g., Barbarian is quite weak in TG even at higher faction levels. |

MG1 = 5000 + 5 wood + 5 ore + 3 gem + 3 mercury + 3 sulphur + 3 gem + 3 crystal
= 5000 + 10*186 + 12*369
= 5000 + 1860 + 4428
= 11288

I would recommend two rings of inspiration instead. If there is to choose only from your options, the rings of abdications sounds better in pvp, but due to their decreasing defense, i wouldn't recommend them in TG.

Help my Elves friends angah160 n king_of_gunner. They r trying to reach TG2, but they are stupid! Especially angah160. They'll get block if can't reach TG2 within a month. |

Try using Battle Fury, all stats go to attack.
Troop Recruit, Max Sprites first, max FK, max Bowmen , rest druid.
Box bowman at corner, split druid into 3 stack to cover bowmen. Split Sprite into 2 equal stack. Use druids to stoneskin FK and Sprites, dont use lightning first.
Remember when facing necro caravan, avoid spreading your units, cause the hero can raise a lot. |
