in my humble opinion +5% ranged damage is as good as nothing
better get a +2 Attack artifact, this way you will deal at least 6% more damage (depending on defense of your enemy) with your bowman AND all of your other troops |
| i would suggest longbow or any cloak for lowering the melee damage for group battles. longbow is more economical in a long run. |
| For Ambush I suggest MH bow. |
| for ambushes i suggest cape of winds which is more efficient against caravans of elves, dark elves and wizards. |
do not forget to stand next to your efk/sprites with your unicorns when attacking
this way they get 30% less magic damage (which is a lot!) |

| a doubt.i currently have efks.and my stats are.8 attack 10 defense 1 spell power and 2 knowledge.Should i raise attack or have the same stats??? |

It's getting a little bit tougher for elves with the latest updates.
So far my exp for ambushing, it needs luck to put efk so they can
reach more than 1 stack on the first move and very occasionally efk
can attack 3 or more stacks for the first strike. The elven bowmen
are the same fragile as before, so they always get down first.
To fight with neutral creatures, they now take efk as highest threat,
which makes the hard hunting and merc quests harder for elves.
While, for pvp fights, the same as before, elves always die before they
can perform their gifted dps abilities. |
