for ambushes: i don't know
for hunting: it doesn't matter
for mercenary quests: changing as it is required
for pvp: bows, the fastest or the hardest to be killed - you choose (e.g., for knights i would choose the swordsmen because of their number and their defense) |
in this lvl what favoured enemy i do for every faction
i mean for the ambush |
for qio about favourite enemy at lvl 7/8/9
i usually go for the unit that annoys me most/i feel is most dangerous when encountering player
Knights: Monks (i went for Griffins for a long time but since the caravans sometimes have 30+ Monks i switched to Monks, also there is nearly no human player having no Monks (but some without Griffins, those who have tend to suicide them at fk/try to break through druids). Crossbows are never a thread worthy being favourite enemy in ambushed since if you stand next to them they are worthless whether you deal double damage or not. Swordsmen/Guardians might be interesting vs human player but caravans don't tend to have any of them (so no real option for ambushes)
Necromancer: Vampire (nothing annoys me more than 30+ upgraded Vampires that can teleport and even if you smash half of them in 2-3 turns they are back to full stack), i didn't find out what may be more annoying than that
Wizard: Gargoyles (there is barely a caravan/player army that doesn't have a lot of Gargoyles or even maxed them out. They are Wizards hope to survive as long as possible to cast as much as they can. Smash that hope)
Barbarians: Orcs. Cyclops may smash you from time to time but Orcs are great at melee AND ranged and come in great numbers. Not killing the thiefed player's Orcs means giving him the chance to wipe out your bowmen/forest keeper with 1 shot. You definately have to kill them
Dark elves: Shrews. Encountering a caravan with ~200 Shrews/Rogues is NOT funny. Take them down before they do so. AI caravans tend to have only sometimes some Lizards so that won't pay off, also those Minotaurs/Poisoner are more of a distraction than a real enemy. Maybe switch to Dark Witches on higher levels, the better caravans you get the more of them you get (i think they are there in exchange for Poisoner if you get strong enough)
Demons: I go for Wolfhounds/Cerberi since they can really deal a massive amount of damage (especially Cerberi with triple attack and no retaliation!), also they often come in high numbers. You may think of Devils later on being favourite enemy but they have higher ini than your bowmen/druids and when 6 devils are enough to smash your whole stack of 50 (elite) forest keeper it won't change anything if you have favoutite enemy when there are 11 of them (and they still gate...) |
I just turned lvl 8 and I was wondering how unicorns could be used effectively against non magic and damaging magic troops. |
@364
Do u mean aura of magic proof?
All allied creatures adjacent to this one obtain cumulative 30% magic proof.
It mean ur allied (x) stay near to unicorn (U)receive 30% less magic damage.
I not sure the aura range, but i guess need stay near to the unicorn.

I meant for attacking how many stacks (I currently use 2,4) etc. |
I sugguest use 1 efk to take retal and do not splite unicorns :) |
tell noob please
How shoot several times a hero in a round? |
th elevel 5 talent im not sure what its called but its in the center of the wheel that attacks all favoured enemys on the feild (not allied stacks)
it works pretty well in hunts as it allways attack every stack |
tnx
testing now :) |
Rain of Arrows - it shoots all the troops set as favorite enemy which oppose your team; additional, increases the damage done by hero when it uses RoA |
here is another gimmick at thiefing:
against knight you might not need to fully cover your bowmen since they tend to not have mobile 1-tile units other than monks (who try to stay behind cover and shoot anyway) and swordsmen (who are slow and can only walk 4 tiles)
so you might use 2 efk splitted up as retal taker. Since there is a chance that both your retal-taker move before the enemy griffin stack does (assuming that the enemy only has 1) and your big stack after they move you might prevent your big stack of efk to get hit first (especially when both the enemy and you are having attack-heavy stats and min AP)

about druids:
https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?warid=483126017<=-1
check the enemy units stats
use magic on high-defense creatures and normal attacks on low-defense creatures
and use druids lightning to make a sure kill |
hi all
i have aquestion my recuriting for my troops r good or not cuz i change my troops watch my last 5 battles i need to know what is my mistake i was putting talent for basic offence and battlef fury and now it is raly so which one is more useful |
#374
You tried advanced fortune? |
i am level 7 elf
what should i have?
advanced fortune or leadership and rally? |
both are ok. i prefer advanced fortune, but many elves here recommended rally as well. my best advice for you is to try both and choose the one which suites you best. good luck! :) |
ok
what does everyone else suggest?
i am using trying both
thx |
battle fury!! |
battle fury!!
i've found you hit harder with battle fury (compared to rally)
and with battle fury compared to expert luck, if you get a luck trigger, you;ll hit the same as a normal hit with battle fury, so battle fury is better |
