Is it me or the caravans of barbarians tend to have an enormous amount of ogres / ogres magi? |

hako, I was joking. :) Of course, everybody is free to choose whatever faction suites him/her best.

| the barbarians i faced so far (well i'm only lvl 9 and still on tg lvl 3) tended to have a lot of orcs and/or cyclops. Of course there are nearly always some tiny little ogres surrounding them but given the fact that they usually are smashed with battle dance/spread attack before they could move (and if they don't get attacked they might even attack but it is really rare to see some high stacks of ogres, i only had that once) it was never worth having favourite enemy on them. I prefer favourite enemy on orcs since it also helps me vs human player, cyclops may come in handy too but only against 1-3 types of caravans. Wolves are rare (i only face a hand full of them yet). |

That one at combat level 10 I barely survived and that was the only one I won because I wasn't knocked back too much. That's why I asked if someone has more experience at combat level 10 with the caravans of barbarians. Meaning, if it is worth to set ogres as favorite enemy. |

Tactics
for any caravan other then dark elf/wiz
split druids into 3 stacks of 3, defending the bowmen (one big stack)
Leave Fk's in one stack off to one side on the bottom row
Halve sprites so they dont die first turn

Tactics for Dark elf/Wiz
Split bowmen into 3 stacks of 5 and put them towards the middle
half sprites and enjoy :)

that was exactly my tactic :)
now i am level 9 and still using the very same tacic (also with battle fury) |
