There is always some degree of discretion about what is provocation, what is insulting, etc.
I wish the same people holding this view now had been holding it when this thread was at page 1. Oh the irony. |

We shall see if DiN is consistent. There had been lots of evidence (that you chose not to respond to) about other threads that breached the expanded definition of rule 4.2 that Sven91 made, that were not banned or deleted when you were a mod. The selective banning was perceived as a misuse of a mods discretion. |
It's great, as usual, each time you don't quote an entire post the other guy can claim you took things out of context. Not that original post was that far away, not that I hadn't conveyed its meaning either.

In the opinion of some, this is still not the case. For example, by you, when *you* decide to ban Danzi for "insulting" when he dares state that some mods have been badly chosen.

Not even a list of those supposedly bad mods; just speaking in general terms, and deserving your ban. Apparently, in these times of grace and happiness, writing "some mods are bad" is enough to deserve punishment.
I suggest from now on you search on all occurrences of word "bad" in new posts and inflict appropriate punishment, each time a group of player is ever targeted and no name mentioned. For example, when people say AFK partners are "bad", when people joining min AP battles in full arts are "bad", or even on various non-closed reports of cheating when people say cheaters are "bad" (since people are innocent until proven guilty.)
After all, if the post above was enough to be a breach of 4.6 rule (4.6. It is forbidden to insult other players, as well as to provoke an insult.), then you have much work ahead - or your bans are not consistent.

Sven asked. I answered. I didn't apply the ban, and don't know the content of the original post, but I can see what rule was applied based on the mods post. If Sven's question was rhetorical, I apologise for answering a question he didn't want an answer for.
I have explained why the poster was banned. Questioning of the admins (Cepruyc)decision was done. It would have probably have been better to refer to that rule, but it can also been seen as an insult. If on that thread regarding how mods were chosen, criticism or an insult was allowed to stay without a penalty, then it could easily degenerate in to a flame filled thread.
It was a 1 minute ban. People get the message that criticism of Cepruyc decision is not allowed. |
I dont see a question mark in my post, so I fail to see the question I "asked".
And it doesnt matter how long the ban is, a ban is a ban, and in this case an abuse of your power. |
| I do not still understand why so many people are posting in this thread ? It has not helped even once so far in punishing a moderator for his offenses ( if any ) . This has become a show of a few players , each exercising his intellectual skills to the maximum to show the other wrong . Honestly , this is a game , and should be player like a game ... |

Sven has posted twice recently (before post # 645). Post # 640 insults hm...? (implied query regarding penalty for insulting) and post # 636 Since when are moderators allowed to ban people for provoking?.
Both seem to be questions, demonstrated by the presence of question marks.

I would also like to hear what Empire has to say about evicted some older mods. I do think its on request of people, but who would made so, as everybody, even cepryup asked me to be Forum mod before the mass inviting.
So someone, somewhere have great power of manipulation to get me evicted there. |

| "3rd party" can also count as a comment not refering to the matter at hand. If it was something that was already stated and it was more of a pointless comment or a "bump" i would assume it also counts as 3rd party. |
