More Communication

AuthorMore Communication
I know this should be in IaS but it has been alraedy suggested. Hence, why I have started my own topic here.

Since the start of this wonderful project, we had almost 0 to 5% communication from the real administration of this game. I cannot hold it anymore.

Skunder made a deal with administration about saying what we would have to expect, yet we received no confirmation, no replies to our questions and that after quite some time of waiting already.

I wonder if the administration has some respect for their players cause simple communication is the first form of respect they could give us.

After the Town Meeting unanswered, we now see Empire, run by administration do some eviction on Officials Moderations Clans without any explanation as to why the people have been evicted and especially the older mods that were HOLDING UP THE SERVER while they were away. Is that some kind of : Thanks you did a great job, now go away ?

If so, I wonder really if money isnt just what they want out of their games cause they have no respect at all for those who have helped them and supported them so far.

I want explanation as to why Administration has evicted Mods and also why they havent answered yet to the town meeting.

You want to show you are active on this server, communicate, thats it, thats all.
Yes, I completely agree, I have been thinking the same thing.

*goes and cries in the corner

Oh how fun it's been being super excited to be a mod...and then have all your expectations shattered when you come home and see that you were evicted without the courtesy of a letter explaining what the heck is going on...
Not even 2 days into action and most mods are evicted.
What's the meaning of this?
We're too noobish, we abuse our power, or what?

What if there's an overpopulation of mods?
What's the problem with that?
All evicted mods need a clearer explanation.

Cheers,
TW

I urge patience. I believe it will be answered soon.

I believe Empire has explained the actions.
I think it was done due to too many people doing the same tasks as pointed out in post #78 - #80 of the same thread.

It is also suggested that having too many moderators result in the undesired effect pointed out in "Why are Q&H topics closed so quickly?"

I hope it answers all your queries.
for plzdunhurtme:

Good enough, then how do you explained that older mods, who have experience in their job get sacked out by Empire without them giving a proper reason other then, too many ?
For dan :

I gathered up the facts and figures , and as far as i can comprehend , a list of mods to be kept and mods to be removed was passed on to admins by you-know-who . Admins have acted earlier on you-know-who's words and they trust it .

They acted again .
You-know-who, wow, thats really nice to know actually.

That only reveal one thing : Administration doesnt even know their Staff.

I dont think they care much for each and every person in this game, they dont even know who were in post before the mass recruiting. Wow, a round of applause for such show of uninterestment and for the lack of wanting to the their staff.

I wish good luck to every other mods that made it thru, you might finish just like the others, cause they dont care about knowing you.
It also reveal how much lack of communication is hindering this server.

With more communication it would have been easy for them to know that information and advice not only on a one person list/request.

But again, they dont care much as long as people give money.

You have raised a valid point. Unfortunately, I am unable to explain the decision as I too have no idea.

I can only guess that it might be the case where Empire might want to blood the newly selected mods, while letting the more experienced ones take a much needed break.
Another thing I wonder about our great administration :)

In chat moderation Clan, theres Ravage who is still a member of it. I havent seen him in chat the whole time I was chat mod, 6 months, I really wonder this one has kept his job. lol, another round of applause for our great administration.

I beg to differ. I have seen Ravage around several times. He is on at really odd hours.

As for Erebes: You-know-who.

There is no solid evidence to suggest that "you-know-who", as you call that player, has had anything to do with it, so perhaps it's best we don't begin to point fingers at this time :)
Timezone coverage seems to be a bit sketchy, as it seems to me that No Forums Mods activity has been seen between, 1h am to 3h am. Do the moderators are covering all hours or theres 'Dark Hours' again ? And if they are covering all, why some thread havent been dealt with ? I wonder, still.
Wow, another nice round of applause of consistency from Administraion.

The player Keygen, has been reported many times for 'Farming Gold' and yet this player isnt block and still continue to do his own game. The reporters have been banned and the posts deleted.

I thought all customers would have the same rights and rules to follow, I guess I was wrong :P
:) He has listened to your voice.
Say more, Dan, this topic has magical powers.
Speak Dan speak.

I knew communication was the key to success in this server, something administration doesnt have took into consideration, Yet ?

I have nothing to report at the moment, but I will in the future, for sure.
Oh, btw, I would like to congratulations our finest, the forums mods for taking up to 5 hours to see foul language in a thread. He was actually quite a nice feat, cause 2 of them were online at the moment I have found it, but thought it could be amusing to see how much time it would take to them to notice it.

5 hours, a new record, never been so long in the past.
And the reason still use the word provocation, well there was only foul language and not provocation. Thanks again QA for making a reason that is not quite it.
News flash.

I got a new cheater on the line who is still roaming the server unpunished even if the process has been done by the juries on October 16th, yes that long.

Araggorn is a cheater who havent been sacked out or penalized by our greatest. Is this going to create a precedent, in leaving our numerous cheaters roam free, is this because the administration decided to ignore the population when they cried for 'Cheaters' but when it comes for moderators abusing powers, wooa thats another stoy.

The biggest problems after communication is cheating, what are you waitng for ??

If you supect someone of cheating then create a post in CaA about it with your proof. You know that Lexa is currently dealing with them as he can.
