| The problem here is that you underestimate me immensely about my level of insight into the matter and secondly you are not really looking for dialogue but rather trying to impose your interpretation or whatever you know to try to negate my point, i know more than a couple of trans people and one of them is a close friend. There is a lot more turmoil involved in the entire process than you let on and society makes them feel really uncomfortable so they have to justify their ‘self’ to both themselves and society and in that endeavor and ordeal they become rather ‘commited’ to their choice and that affects facets of their personality after coming our, this forced change is something i hate with a passion because i have seen friends suffer due to it. Also miss me with that pronoun game please i dont give two hoots about that unless the person specifically asks me to use them, I won’t be ‘pressured’ into using that load of crap from a random unrelated person who has no damn stake in the matter. I am not going to waste my breath on you however i will agree that the matter is more nuanced than what both of us are willing to say here. But for god’s sake get your snob nose off the damn ceiling. |
Eh people are too quick to push their morals onto others. I don't really view it as ignorant or rude to not be fully up to date with/accepting of an alternative lifestyle that has only really emerged to prominence in the last 10 years. Let us not forget that less than 50 years ago talk of transition may have seen you sent to a psychiatric hospital for electro therapy. Times change. If the trans community want full acceptance as a collective they need to steer away from shaming others for anything but instant unwavering support.
My mate's choice has honestly been a huge life shock for me. He was really the last person on earth I thought would make this kind of change. I want to be there and support her as much as possible and say all the right things but on a human level it's tricky for everybody. Imagine you wake up one day and your best bros are suddenly girls, what if it was a family member or your spouse? Requires some mental adjusting I tell you that.
Now i'm growing up a bit and a fair few years beyond my school/uni days life is weirder than I ever imagined. In addition to this transition thing a girl (not close) from the same class committed suicide last week. Another friend from that class died from a sudden epileptic fit about 2 years back that one hit me too.

Thinking about it my entire life has changed in the past 5 years in curve ball after curve ball that I never saw coming. lwm and typing those captchas has been the only constant.
I used to be in the military, I quit that and left everything behind with nothing lined up, friends, house, career everything
Went travelling for 6 months.
The stuff mentioned above happened. Of my childhood friends 1 is now a girl, 1 died from epilepsy, the guy who introduced me to this game now weighs maybe 350lbs and has a similarly large girlfriend, 1 is happy in a long term gay relationship half way around the world, 1 bought a house with a girl I never expected, 1 is a licensed beer brewer.
I started a polar opposite career (this is thankfully going fairly well)
Fairly serious mental health issues have been an on and off thing
The virus happened
I've moved house about a million times and am moving again in 4 months, probably living in saudi arabia the year after (i'm from the UK)
In my early 20's I thought I had it mostly figured out, life torpedo'd all my plans and the things I want now are completely different.
but through all that a forest keeper is still a forest keeper, shrews are still annoying, and that captcha still pops up every hour. |

I never understand how people use so many slots, mine always hovers around 50 and that's with trash loot arts and arts from earlier levels
What else do you need apart from min ap, a full shop set, maybe some enchanted/campaign arts? |

I can hold max of 123 arts without abc. This isn't a lot when you consider the abundance of donation items which are no where nearly spent enough... the special event arts which are not completely worthless so you want to hold on to it. Plus we have the regular shop arts that are useful, shop arts for your combat level attained from donation with considerably increased dura you want to repair profitably and the loots - for this i discard everything 7/7 unless i can use it fast.
Hunter arts, beastbane arts go in the discard pile unless they have significant value on market (over 4-5k). Right now i have none of these... but overall I am much more likely to discard than make sale. |
