We had reports of expired vacines being sold for example.
The first lockdown was terrible for our economy, building materials did raise between 50% to up 300%, estates houses had become way more expensive, while our margins of profit meager.
Infact even acquiring the materials that in any other time was readily available, we had to enter a 3 - 4 months waiting line.
And what is it for? It did not stop or contained anything, the government didn’t release conduct rules of establishment to prevent any spread, infact they did the opposite with their financial support, because the lines of people would often cross multiple streets. People very close to each other, the raw stupidity and incompetence is beyond words.
This little financial support only cost us a few billions, which gladly they raised the taxes to cover that.
So many business had broken, people got unemployed. Physical shop had eaten a few billion loss.
Man I hate our government. They’re good only at creating taxes and delaying the process of entrepreneurs. Just to give an idea 35% of budget goes to direct taxes, and add another 20 or so indirect, from services and factories taxes. And after a house is finished to sell, the paper work can take up to 6 months. Hate, hate, hate my country. | The second lockdown, was applied only in the weekdays, but the weekends was free game.

Most countries outside the majority of North America and some countries in Europe, are a complete mess.
Wanna know what is disappointing? We’re the richest in South America and we could be as wealthy if not more than USA. But our society is screed.

Just a few facts.
In 2012 Brazil had a projection to become in the top 5 richest countries in the planet.
We were one of the most attractive to invest countries, because we’re emerging.
We’ve the third biggest land in the planet, but with the richest natural resources. Wood, metals, gold, silver, petroleum, we have it. Also the biggest reservatory of water in the planet, which of course we didn’t begin to extract.
Also blaming politicians is ignoring the fact, that they’re simply a reflection of our society.
While scammers exist everywhere, in some places they’re more common than others.
Individual morality based from cultural teachings is often what sets apart, and also the value of work.
In Germany they’ve a saying “work first, fun later”
In here people skip work because they receive government support assistance. In fact most poor families which is very common here, has about 6 to 14+ family members, often only about 20% works, the remaining just leech.
The reason we’re the richest nation of South America is simply due our territory size + natural resources, nothing to give us credit for. Also our neighbor often are ruled either by equal disgrace class of politicians or dictators. | Lastly, since your girly tantrums wasn’t specific, about which part you disagree nor why.
We surely can find atypical things like Dubai, but even inside it’s country, no other city is as rich.
It’s a overly generalization when I mentioned North America and Europe because when we look at the bulk of everything, we can clearly see that their average as a continent do better against other continent. But of course it’s not a black and white definitive answer, anyone with a brain cell had already figured out. | Oh also, earthquake, vulcano, tsunami, hurricane, snow. We don’t suffer from any of this.
So yeah, we definitely should be one of the richest countries in the planet. We almost did, even without leadership, infrastructure development planning. Just because our country is so blessed.
But we have royalty screw up. Our fault. | In school I was always taught how Brazil was an upcoming regional superpower with the potential to challenge on the world stage. Of the BRIC countries (brazil, russia, india, china) only 1 has made it, perhaps India will get there.
