Authordark elf faction topic
since old one is obsolete here is a new one

any one got hints for lvl 5 magic DE
vs elf and make sure you have enough spell power to get spike to deal 36 damage
Also called "Druid format" for unknown reasons :)
At first turn of hero, try to kill elvens with Magic Arrow, the second turn do an earthen spike to open hole and kill some druids and elvens ... leave the FKS and Faeries to Lizards and Minos .. they are stronger than the Druids for SURE ..

Make sure u have at least 20 mana and 3 spell power ...

bring more meat means more mino then rogues if u r magic. devide rogues more then 2 stacks to stand on dead ghosts, block some chooters, and taking some retaliations. always try to open way to ur lizard charge, specially agianst griffins.

The outnumbers of DE creatures is balanced with the magic they have .. I think the Magic should be done at the right time .. That's all the KEY for the magic ..

i think that we should bring 13 minos 5 lizards 9 rogues and 1 bandit or mybe full mino full liz and 11 bandits 1 rogue
at level5:
1 poisoner, 15 rogues, 7 minos, 6 lizards for hunts and quests without shooters.
10 poisoners, 1rogue, 13 minos, 6 lizards for PvP and every fight with shooters. (but PvP is hard at level5)
I would say ALWAYS put full lizards. Lizards can lizard charge and the only thing that can keep you alive and doing damage to knights. Always move around and attack with lizards never stay in the same spot. Lizard charge cuts down defense. So Stephor, Save up for poisoners first :D Btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
not jus knights, some warrior demons n barbs can get 10 atk n 10 def tats an ouch if u dun haf some def and onli liz charge n magic could deal decent dmg

hi what is the best talent to begin with for a de 5
^^ Mabe there's no 'the best talent' but most suitable to your style.
I prefer half half(Which mean half fighter half magician)It is balance enough.Magic of delay is useful on zombies and fast creature(Which mean it is good for all creature but zombies is already slow.Now come with Sssllllooww.)

Same as curse.But I dont know why high lv people of dark elf dont use magic.

so? if u cast delay on a stack ur shrews get more turns before the stack goes again

better to play might DE for thieving
because ur rogues can reach enemies in 1st turn
and ur rally talents doesnt suitable with magic DE
u increase ur number of ur troops, but u dont increase their firepower
^^ It's called balance between magic and might.
Seems that might/magic not always work alone, esp against certain caravans.
Might can damage faster but rogue always be prime target and disappear quickly. Magic can hurt several enemy at the same time but with firepower consequences.
