for robinwilliam: sword of Might, Def shield, steel boots and helmet + light mithril cuirass + amulet of luck and do not forget the cape of winds .. ^^

They are the cheapest and the best .. TGI needs a lot of money .. then do not be surprised u lost much gold .. :)
I just reached Level 8.

What advice can you give me?

I have Rally talent and I think I will keep my new points for Luck at the next Level.

I chosen the "no magic" way. I put all my points on Attack, so I won't build Magic Guild Level 2.

I built The Hydra Cave of course. Sweet! :)
I had Shrews from Level 7 with diamonds.
I don't have poisoners yet.

What about recruitment? Right know I have 36 shrews - 20 minos-13 liz- 4 Hydras.
i'm sorry for returning to the old subject,but i would like to show you all a duel where a full art mage DE lvl 9 killed a full art might DE:

if he could kill a might DE in duel, then a mage DE would be much better in a group duel.

unfortunately, i still don't see why is the might DE so much more popular than mage DE...
i realize that it's expensive, but i guarantee that it's more fun ;D
Because, as stated a zillion times, mage DE is useless in PvM.
for triplebuzze: What is PvM : Person versus what ?? sorry .. but i think in anything Magic is still useful .. ^^

better bring max hydras but plzz give them more morale .. they will mill many more than the minos .. ^^ I guarantee . ^^ I tried them in ambushing and give me many wins .. ^^
PvM -> player vs monster.
Merc quest, hunts & ambushes.

Sure spells can be handy. But at wich price?
vs low def ennemies (wich is the case in most hunts/MQ), the extra attack for shrews of a might build will outdamage the heroes spells of a mage build. And that is without taking into acount lizard, hydras and minos wich makes the might build even more stronger.

For people doing mostly pvp, the mage way is a good choice. For evrything else, mighty DE is a lot more powerfull.

It's a question of what you like. Frankly, I don't understand people playing this game without PvP. Hunts, merc quests, thieving, that everything leads to increasing some parametres ... to be stronger in PvP. To have enchantments. PvP is a peak of this game, the reason why most players are here, so we shouldn't speak about it as a special case. I had this feeling from your post.

I you prefer the mage way, just do it. I have nothing wrong with it.
for jrf: See Aranaks, he NEVER does any PvP .. may be players like that just SICK with PvP .. coz sometimes many afkers .. and many mistakes and misunderstandings with teammates .. :)
question about Hydra's spray range.

It says it's 6 squares. But what six? Let's say I chose the top left square to attack. What are the other five? Does it go clockwise to the first one? Anticlockwise? Two from the one side, and three from the other side?
As far as i know, it tries to hit as many stacks (stack size seems to be ignored) in the 6 square range.
Not sure you can always predict wich other stack will get hit other than your target.
Can I know how I should distribute my units for lvl 5?

Also, are poisoners worth that much amount of money?
Any good tactic for a Might Dark Elves against army of wizard(3) at lv 6?I can only touch a kill several genies and 1 magi.

I think they are good, because they get their turn just before lizards,while bandits don't, you take ret then, and you can attack with lizards, without any problems ;D

Yes definitely necessary, because their init falls just b4 liz, making them excellent retal takers
they hav their uses......

What do you guys recommend for the distributions of troops, both for hunts and for PVP?
For hunts,
Max lizards, max rogues, 2-4 poisonners, rest in minos.

No idea for pvp. Lvl 5 might DE is not pvp friendly.
What talent should I choose?
