Oh by the way, why should I max rogues instead of minos? I won a lot of my PVP battles in lvl 3-4 because my minos were killing everything and were able to survive until the end
Players are smart enought to kill rogues asap. In hunts, with some tactics, your rogues should be your last standing unit. with their high ini, speed and damage, they will be better than minos in most situation.

Be carefull with shooter/caster hunts, those one will target your rogues right from the start. In this situation use your splitted rogues as a bait to give your lizards minos the time to close in.
How should I distribute my attribute points?
Question: If i use the rally talent, does this make caravan ambushes harder?

As might DE all to attack, as mage DE almost all to spell power(at your level you also need 20-30 knowledge).

About hunts, I used max lizz and minos at your level and I was satisfied.
Which is better, a might DE or an attack DE?

If they are both roughly equal, can I know some of the differences in tactics (Other than spells), and which is easier to play as? Thanks.

I think at your level you should be magic DE, because you have no shooters (nor the special type of shooters - shrews) and you need to have something to kill bowmen, succubi etc.
You don't NEED to be anything.

Shooters can be dealt with in another way, there is a reason why DE has fast units.
wow, Dark Elves really suck at "Everyone for himself" fights when there are only two players.

The corners are really bad for the Shrews and the Hydras.

I won't play a fight like this again.
If DE's sit back in order not to take to much heat they will loose.

If De's use their early advantage on one player, he will get them all on him.

etc etc ..

I don't play Everyone for himself anymore :)

Interesting, I mostly had success in "Everyone for himself" battles(first or second place). In 90% it turned to 2 vs 2, when mostly my team won and then mostly I had enough minos left to win.
I did these battles on levels 5-6.
It was reaction more on #233 ...

my opinion about EFO(everyone for..), DE has way better advantage than other faction. If the enemy don't cover their archers, shrew can hit them in 1 turn. Unlike duel/group without tactic talent, shrew don't need to waste thier 1st turn by moving 1 tile forward or other moves. And shrew, except hellhorses, very often move first than other fast units such as EFKs. In duel/group battle, since shrew move first, when your settlement is unlucky, your shrew may not reach any of your enemy units, then they will die in next turn. but in EFO, they can deal some damage 1st. and since they have no reliable ranged units, the closer the settlement is, the better chance DE will win.
This will also work on ambushes. As it is quite hard to cover archers in ambushes(ambusher or victim), DE don't need to protect any ranged units

I'm talking about "everyone for..." fights with ONLY TWO PLAYERS.

Of course with 3 or 4 players , Shrews can hit much more than a normal duel/group fight.
But with only 2 players when they start in the corners, you can't get a first hit.You can reach only 1 or 2 tiles and the opponent is smart he doesn't hae anuthing that far. You have to lose one turn moving some tiles. And if the other player has good ranged you're finished in seconds.

Another question.

What's the best recruitment with Poisoners-Shrews-Minos-Liz-Hydras for Hunting small creatures (like Imps, Goblins, Skels etc)?
I understand that it's best to have all 32 shrews together and with big initiative you hit and run.
What about poisoners?
