which is d best talent for lvl 5 and why?
Basic Erudition is probably the best.

BTW, you don't need 5 Knowledge - at this level you rarely have time to spend half of your 50 mana.
381: Go for Basic erudition, because one extra point to spell power.
Hey. Is it just me or are wizards easy to use?

I think it is because our hero's are "immortal" unless the beloved gargs die.

Is that what you guys think too?

i've played with players who use to be a wizard and changed faction to , ex/ elf and had some kind of magic resistance

i checked and the person had nothing on him that resisted magic, not even the a talent with resisting magic.

he had lvl 3 wizard faction lvl tho.

is there something i might be missing?
Each faction level gives you +3% resist (physical and spells too) against representative of this faction. So, if you are fighting against someone with wizard 3 racial, he will recieve 9 % less damage from your attacks (units and spells).
yes. Every faction skill point gives you 3% resistance against ANY kind of damage from that faction
so if a wizard is hit by another wizard he will get less damage (according to his faction skill). It doesn't matter if it's a spell or a unit hitting him. The only thing is: Spell damage is usually constant, so it's much easier to compare

If I have lvl 1 demon and I play against demon he gives me 3% less dmg than normal.
If I have lvl 5 wizard and I play against wizard he gives me 15% less dmg than normal.
No matter what faction I play with!

wiz caravans are ignore this condition :(
they do more dam to u and u wiz do less dam to them
my opinion about CK and MR at lv6

condition 1: 30mana

1.CK

3 mana for each shot,10 turns to cast 10 shots

2.MR

4 mana for each ,every turn recover 1 mana
30 mana can have 7 shots,while we can get 6 more mana from recovery
MANA:30-7*4=2,2+6=8
and this give us another 2 shots

now we have cast 9 arrows and have 2 mana left(from recovery)
when we goes to next turn ,3 mana left,
only need to wait once to get the 10th casting
10.5 turns to cast 10 arrows,and every 2 more turns give 1 more shot.


condition 2 :40 mana

1.CK:
13shots in 13 turns

2.MR
40mana gives 10 shot,while we get 9 more mana from recovery
after 2 more cast,we have 3 mana left,
and our next turn would have 4 mana

13turns to cast 13 arrows,and every 2 more turns give 1 more shot.


Apparently, Mana Recovery would be a better choice at lv6.

no,they don't.
we still have resist against wizards cacavans
while their racial is always 7 ,
this does give them higher resistance (21% compared to 15%)
their spells u can't resist , u can check , true to me
393: Faction resist works for caravans too. I check your combat log for your fight with wizard caravan. Wizard hero did 51 damage with lightnig to your golems. His spell power is 10, what is 11+11x10=121 damage. Your faction skill is 5, what is 5x3=15% faction resist. Damage after resist is 102,85 and with 50% resist from golems ability is final damage 51, what is the same as you can see in your combat log.

Yes, it looks strange. Wizard did to your gargs more damage with spikes, than is his max damage from spiked. In my wizard caravan wizard did to my gargs full damage with spiked (not faction resist counted). I dont know what is wrong, maybe bug ...
maybe they have talent points in earth magic
sorry for double postm, but did we ever discuss tactics against demons?
At level6 should i take MR or stick with erudition and at level 6 should i raise sp or kn?
