Greetings,
Announcing the first Battle of the Clans Tournament! LOS and Dragon Slaughter plan to hold clan battles on Saturday, October 3rd. This is a free tournament with no prizes. These will be friendly battles for fun only. Details are being worked out and will be posted here. We invite all clans to trot out your warriors and represent your clan with pride.
Must have at least a team of two. Duels may be added at a later date. The more clans involved, the more categories can be offered to compete in. I have already gotten mail requesting both enchanted weapons battles, min AP battles and so on. Records will be kept and posted after the tournamet ends and if it is a success, we will continue it weekly so your team can add to their record and become legendary! Anyone interested in joining the fun, please post here so we can announce what clans are involved. Clan leaders who are interested, please promote this in clan mail.
Due to the unknown number of clans joining, the first tournament will be loose to get our feet wet. Come on clans, sign up and show that clan spirit! |
| I was told the mods may shut this down. If it gets shut down for some reason we will hold it anyway so PM me. Dragon Slaughter and LOS will hold clan battles October 3rd no matter what. If I have to do all this by PM, so be it, or I will open an off game forum. We just want to have fun :P |

Of course we want as many as you can get but you only need two players to compete as a team in 2v2 battles. We don't want to shut out any clans. |

I recommend the following type of combat so that it'll be more fair.
2v2 or 3vs 3, full arts without enchants or 40% enchant. Min ap is not very balance.
However, the main problem in organizing this will be how to communicate between clan and setting up battles. Some more detail about this. |

Good deal. Let's hammer the details out right here until all are satisfied. I am gathering the clans and keeping the records so if the clan leaders involved can work out the details that would be fantastic. I would suggest we stage our battles from the GB chat channel. Visao, you do a lot of GBs and I would be happy if you set the ground rules we can follow, including any additions from other clan leaders that all can agree on. The only rule Binghuo and I insist on is no flaming before, during, or after battles. Flamers should be dealt with harshly as it would spoil the fun and spirit of the games. |

Wow, more clans get in. Nice! let's rock it! :D
Personally, I more like best arts (I mean full arts + best enchanting), that's what clan enchanters works for, right? :)
But since money is always the biggest issue (our service is not as rich as .ru yet), we don't want spend all of our precious gold on our first try. So how about full arts, whatever arts you can get, but no enchanting?
In future, we may hold our 2nd one, with enchanting. How do you guys think?

The tournament is great. But I just wonder that some players have more than 2-3 clans. And they both love these clans. For example, in my case, I am so lucky to join Dragon Heroes, League of Shadows, Elite Warriors. And I love them both. It will be EXTREMLY HARD to choose which clan to participate. Do we have any extra rules for some players who love all the clans they join? :p |

I have this idea. For example: players have 3 clans. They will participate in line.
First battle, they are in 1 st clan
Second battle, they are in 2nd clan
Third battle, they are in 3rd clan
Fourth battle, come back with 1st clan.
..... then so on.
They will say clearly in their profile they will fight with full strength no matter which clans they are in.
How is this idea? |

Do we have any extra rules for some players who love all the clans they join?
I am loosing about this. If not the battles between the two clans, you may join both if time is not conflicting. But if it's the battles between two clans you are in, you have to choose one to join. :) Other leaders agree with me?
In .ru, every player can join ONLY 1 battle clan, so I am afraid it will be the hard decision for a lot of players when it comes to our server.
