And to upset lots of players around, ru now got 3rd attack! It's some amphibian heroes with new, special units.
Can we have at least one of these attacks here? :)

They discovered the location of the amphibians! It's an island in the east of the map, where the dwarves lived long time ago. Now they prepare the old ships of the dwarves to go there.

I don't expect the storyline to be nominated to the Noble Prize in Literature. ;) I expect things happening, that's all. Now there are 3 new races, new location, and war like hell. Not to mention lots of little things to be quite happy about. It made even spend my money on diamonds, and I'm rather a miser.
Here I'm just mining, and considering to stop even this.

The barbs aren't allied with the knights and the amphibians. The empire court tries to find a way to let them fight each other.

Is it also so heavy on lower levels? I cannot buy full AP set on lvl6, do I have any chance if I join any of the fights?

On level 6 you need 23 AP to join the event. That's almost max AP on this level.

On low levels you don't need enchants, but if you want to win at least normal full arts are necessary.
The amount of AP needed depends on the number online. At night time when there are few online, there are many people in almost min AP and many of them win...

Seems that we'll have soon an alliance with the amphibians and the knights.
It's really funny how things work in the heroeswm universe. First everyone collectively beats the stuffing out of each other, kills everyone to near extinction, then they become allies and best friends. (And playable races)

It's the racial ability of the steppe barbs (blood rage). When the creatures attack something/ a friendly or enemy stack dies/ the hero uses a war cry (spell) etc. they gain rage points. With 200 rage points they reach the first rage level. With 500 they reach the second and with 1000 they reach the third. Each level grants them new bonuses (increased stats or even new abilities). In addition the blood rage absorbs a part of all damage, but the creatures also lose rage points when they suffer damage.

Now it's possible to become traitor. As a traitor you can fight together with the barbarians, but you lose the possibility of getting a reward from the empire after the war.
