The grand opening of Uncle Modi's Tavern will coincide with the server updates.All is ready to go and there will be plenty of prizes given away that day. The contest begins when Arctic has finished the upgrade and posts in the forum and not before! Because nobody knows exactly when this will be, this is a fair starting point. Posts by alt characters do not count! No person can order a shot of Dwarven moonshine more than once and have it count towards the total count.
Door prizes:
1.The first person to stop in the Tavern and order a shot of Dwarven moonshine AFTER Arctic's first post in the forum post-upgrade wins 10,000 gold.
2. Should there be new monsters like ru server has, the first person to defeat new monsters in a hunt and post the link in the tavern showing their victory shall win one moonstone.
3. The first person to sell a new art in the market and post their link wins a care package containing:
1 nickel
3 Abrasives
1 Viper Venom
4. The 10th person to stop in and order a shot of Dwarven moonshine wins 2 Meteorite Shards
5. The first person to win a MG quest, defeating a new monster wins 2 Witch Blooms and 5,000 gold.
6. The 15th person to order a shot of Dwarven moonshine wins 20 Mercury.
7. The first person to win a caravan containing new monsters wins 20 sulfur.
8. The first female to stop by and tell me how hot I am wins 15,000 gold.
9. The first person to win any escort MG quest wins 5000 gold.
10.The person with the best story telling how Modi saved the world from mutant aliens wins 3 battles using my 4x10 Mithril and 4x10 Longbow or if not at the required level, 10000 gold. Toshiro will be the judge and his word is law. You have 24 hours post-upgrade to post your story.
Pay attention to this last section because your prizes will be lost if you do not follow directions. Anyone posting to win a prize and not writing "Stay thirsty my friends" in their post will be disqualified. Don't cry if you forget.
There will also be other prizes given away, depending on what sort of mood I am in that day.

In the not so distant past an evil alien race called the dotruthians were preparing to invade our beloved Empire. There leaders, maxipod and alaxipopulus, decided to take a recon mission to our Empire to observe our defenses and to check out the local entertainment (they love the night life).
Upon arriving in the Empire (hidden by their invisibility cloak, no online status), they at first were extremely pleased to find that our defenses are years behind there technology. Their level 15 and 16 army, with their advanced magic and ultimate enchantments, would destroy our meager defense.
Feeling pleased with there chances of conquering a new territory they start looking for some entertainment for their selves and there troops. That is when they start hearing rumors of a new night club that is about to open that is all the rage in the Empire, Uncle Modi’s Tavern was everything that they had heard it was. With the dancing girls and the dwarvern moonshine the tavern was the best in the entire Universe.
With a tavern like this the dotruthian leaders start to worry that there chances to take over, may not work, because anyone that could build such an establishment, such as this, would have to be too advanced for them to conquer. The only way for them to make sure that the plan would work was to find the owner of the tavern and eliminate him, because he undoubtedly would be the leader of the Empire.
Through some informants the leaders discover that Modi was by his self in Misty Coast, tanning on the beach. That is when they decided that this would be there best chance to eliminate him.
Upon approaching the beach they notice a usual glow coming from the area where Modi would be tanning. When they peek around the corner to get their first glimpse of Modi, their ambitions of conquering the Empire are completely destroyed, because standing no more than ten feet in front of them was the embodiment of a living God. The aura that he emitted was nothing short of a modern day miracle. At that point their cloak of invisibility lifted and reveled there selves to Modi.
Modi, never caught by surprised, simply turned and said “I was wondering when you two would come to find me.” Both Maxipod and Alaxipopulus immediately dropped to their knees and begged forgiveness for their evil plans, and even promised to send their greatest mind, Arctic, to help catch our Empire up to their level of advancement.
The two leaders stood to leave and go home to dotru and spread the word of the living God known as Modi, when they asked him for some words of wisdom to take back to their people. Modi smiled at them and said: “Stay thirsty my Friends”.

Yes I am an evil monster to those who cross me BUT...I am an honest evil monster and paid out what I promised to anyone who earned it, even if they were from a clan whose members I want to torture for entertainment.
To those unbelievers who thought this was all a hoax, I have one thing to say.....bwahahahahahaha!
You see, greed is a far greater crime than being abrasive because greed is a disgusting, selfish trait.
