@182. More prophecy Modi? I need to store this thread, so in 2013 I can show you how prophecy is a flawed idea that has no grounding in logic or common sense. It needs incredibly gullible people to accept any prophecy that doesn't speak of exact events at specific times.
But wait, no prophet does that because they need to be vague so they have a chance of it coming true by having a very generous interpretation of their incredibly vague prophecy

I already had a taste of your "logic" and was unimpressed. They are all borrowed ideas, none of them original. Logic indeed.

You are referring to the false prophets. Only false prophets would purposely speak vague terms to allow broad interpretation and thus have room to use some sort of loophole to get around proof that their prophecies are wrong.
Real prophets may be forced to speak vaguely for some reason. Just because gullible people are tricked by the many false prophets doesn't mean that real prophets don't exist.
Disregarding common sense and using only logic there is no proof that prophets don't exist. Also we can't disapprove time travel, visions of the future, or abilities (granted by biology, environment, or technology) to foresee future events (or clues of them).
For example: Those who are only 1 day old and thus never seen a sunrise would panic when the sun sets and the cold night chill sets in. Those who are many days old would not panic and know that the sun would rise soon. |
Other fun examples:
Prophets are aliens with advanced technlogy.
Prophets are from the future (and thus have advanced technology and already have knowledge of future events).
Prophets are advanced humans (genetics, 6th sense, whatever...) that can perceive things that normal humans can't.
Prophets are humans with mutations (similar to how animals and insects have different sensory organs than us and thus have receive different information). |

Err, pole-dancing does not equate to stripping, at least that's what I meant.
Have you guys not heard of pole-dancing classes, which is a totally cool way of exercising, although the classes are way too pricey?

That pretty much eliminates 99% of the females on earth.

Belly dancing is an art form that dates back....let me look it up...that dates back a long time ;). There are no bills being stuffed down the clothes. They preform gracefully and exit. Anything else is just plain trash.
I don't like women too much older than I am and surely don't like them too young. Who needs to hear some giggling kid all night long? Besides, young people have these silly dreams that they think will come true. They haven't been smacked into reality by the world yet. You can have those types.
