I completely understand the point about its being nearly impossible to meet this workaholic rule at high level. But I don't think the problem is with this rule. It's with the game system that makes non-pvp combats impossible at certain point. If I ever get to this point, where I'd lose 30 combats in a row, I'd quit, workaholic rule or no rule.

I'm still hopeful that by the time I get there, the Admins will fix this. Otherwise I will most certainly follow Kiaune.

Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe that's the Admins' way of telling me that if I get to this point, I will have played too much, and it's time to get a life! Maybe they're doing us a favor.
Yes, everything seems still ok at lvl 10, but I can foresee how boring
is at highest combat levels. Almost no neutral creatures defeatable,
so few, around 10, same level players, even not easy to have a pvp combat.
The most of battles they played are against caravans.
The non-pvp battle system may need some modifications.

The problem is not the new LG rules. I'm totally ok with that.
The problem is within the system.
Someone could imagine if something like previous 6-month no updating happens
again, how many top players would stay?
Finally one day, you and me, will reach a certain level, where only pvp and
caravans are doable.
You could see Kiaune, who was once among top 2 with Kusika, and almost the
best hunter record keeper once.

Show me these players, who have highier HG, MG, ... than me and have posted to this discussion.

I am of a lower combat level than you, yet have higher HG.

Hunting has gone to the difficulty that I have to keep a record on which hunts are beyond my capability so as not to waste time and artifact durability on them.

Granted that I do still have ways to ensure wins through hunting by wearing more arts (instead of min AP), asking for assists, etc, but I hope that you would be able to see that there comes a point where such activities are unsustainable.

This LG rule change does affect me. But I believe that there are ways around it. As many have pointed out, rationing the "win-able" battles is a method. Another alternative would be to have more PvP. Either way, my method of coping with this change would be to enroll at least a few times before a battle, and if I sight a battle I ought to be able to win, hit 10 enrolls first (more if I do not have time to battle yet).

Just to preempt any comments on my wealth and combat level, I worked hard and saved for mini-arts (which was refunded), which in my opinion very much the way a wizard should be before the Grand Update.

Does someone bother that this new rule will reward those that do fights with minimum arts against low level players (even possible multis)?

Instead of trying a very challinging fight with full arts (and a lot of costs) that has the possibility of losing, the people will do easy fights (e.g. "I'm level 11, you are Level 4+4+4 = 12") with low cost and this way reset the workaholic counter.

Is this really the way the game should be played? Crushing newbies to get a gold benifit? Or even worse, making multis?
Well, if the person makes multis for this purpose, he will get all his accounts blocked. So that won't accomplish anything

If he does a "I'm level 11, you are Level 4+4+4 = 12", people just won't join and that will accomplish nothing too.
220: Yes, i got penalty, because once i sent 20k to my main from multi and once or twice i didnt want travel, so i bought artefact with my multi and sell it to my main. But i was 6 months ago and from this time i have not got any illegal activity. I have multis (currently only 1) for trying other factions, not for supporting my main and i have not played them for few months, because i enjoy my main. So i think, that i can join to this discussion without any problem ...

224: Yes, you have little highier HG (few more points), but as i wrote, i have not played hunts intensive, because i dont want make hunts with assist. Second fact is, that i have changed my faction and my wizard racial is no so high. And as you know, wizard power mostly depends on racial. But i dont want compare my skills, i only want say, that i know about hard hunts, mercenaries, etc. Currently i have passed more then 90% of hunts (see above why) and mostly doing mercenary quests (not all are doable for me) and pvp. But still, i dont have problem make few succesfull fights per 10 enrolls.

Yes i know, i am only 10. lvl, but daily i am talkig with few top players with our clan on chat and no one from them are crying about how hard are hunts, quests, ... and that this is reason, why they cant win 1 fight per 10 enrolls and have 100% enroll. Why then "low levels" in this duscussion are saying, that LG change is realy bad for high levels, when high levels dont have a problem ?

LG change can be problem for people, who are at work (school) and they cant play battle, only enrolling (they want do enrolls). Ok, but i think, that this is realy not big problem. For 10 enrolls we need 10 hours, or more. Usually work lasts 8 hours. If someone can enroll each hour, he has still 2 enrolls to wage penalty. So, when these people return home, they still have 2 enrolls (2 hours) for one succesfull battle. During that 8 enrolls they can pass hunts and mercenaries, until they will get easy hunt (quest). With this style of playing is not possible, that someone is not able win 1 fight per 10 enrolls.

225: I am level 10 and we are doing a lot of battles with full arts without any problem. My clanmates on top levels are doing full arts battles too, so i dont think, that full arted battles are dead. If someone wants fight in full arts, he will do it. We are still doing min ap battles, for many reasons (clan training, trying something etc), but full arted battles are better. Factions are more balanced in full arts, and exp and fsp from full arts gb are very nice.

You forgot about the main bad thing about workaholic rule:
- this rule makes this game less flexible
Workaholic penalty is great, now the mines can feel less pressure :)

Of course there is.. mines pay less to the players with workaholic penalties
I agree the workaholic rule is needed but why would they need to put flashon the enroll code
I don't agree that workaholic rule is needed.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
